[[Ooc; This is the version of Rogue mixed in with how I see her. I hope that works for you. ^-^]]
Name: [Anna Marie] Rogue
Age: Don't know exactly, but I'll guess around 23 or 24? [80's version of course.]
Gender: Female
Species: Human Mutant
----------------
Likes: her own home town accent y'all,Gambit ssh!, The X-Men, Kittens
Dislikes: Not being able to touch someone in fear of killing them, loosing control of her own personality
----------------
Personality: Described to be a genuine southern belle of the X-Men, she treats the other X-Men as family, and protects them as one, loyal, and once she grows a bond with someone it's hard to let go
-----------------
Appearance: dark red hair, with a long white streak for most of her bangs, along with blue eyes. Pretty basic 'shugah.
---------------
Strengths: Has the occasional super strength, and flight.
---------------
Weapons: Doesn't normally use any preferring to use others powers against them.
Magic Abilities: Due to her mutant power being able to absorb others powers, skills, and memories through skin to skin contact she can become a dangerous foe. However if she keeps that contact she will keep those abilities or memories longer. If she doesn't end the contact she will keep everything with her forever. This does not come without a price to pay.
Other: Because of her powers she has more than once had a "battle of wills" against the other person who she has absorbed, almost tearing her apart she had to be strong, and take charge before she lost her own personality completely.
----------------------------
BIO: Born to her parents Owen and Priscilla as Anna Marie she very much enjoyed her Aunty Carrie's attention. During a "spiritual" accident her mother disappeared and Carrie took over her. Anna was a rebellious child, and still young she ran away; giving her the nickname "Rogue". (however the reason as to why she ran away is still unknown) and she came right into the arms of Mystique who offered her advice, and thus through trust took her in as a mother figure.
At one point in time Rogue grew close to a fellow named Colby Robbins, with one single innocent kiss she left him in a coma traumatizing herself to the fact that she had unwillingly unleashed her mutant powers.
Mystique sensing her utter devastated emotions turned them into anger ultimately recruiting her into Brother Hood Of Mutants.
During her time with them she permanently gained Ms. Marvel's powers, and attempted to kill her fearing for Rogue's own sanity. (But Ms. Marvel was saved)
However she was slowly slipping into insanity with personalities battling against each other, and she went to Professor Charles Xavier searching for help. Even though the X-Men resented Rogue's presence for what she had done (even threatened to leave!) they were convinced by Xavier, and she was allowed in their home. She surprised the team by not only once, but twice risking her life for another showing how loyal, and trustworthy she could be to those that treated her right. Ever since she has been a highly respected, and a good friend, even though the team hit rocky bumps from time to time they always managed to pull through.

SAMPLE RP:
It had been another long day, especially for Rogue. They had to train, and today seemed to be extra painful because Wolverine was the leader. And he liked to do things without no hesitations, and no breaks. Just bam, bam, bam. During one of the breaks (as few as they were) she had to speak up noticing the younger, newer kids were sweating, and breathing rapidly.
"Say they're not lookin' all that good Wolvie." She walked over to him scanning the room to add empathize to her words. Of course his respond was something around the lines of, "When their on the battle field ain't no one gonna be looking good."
She just rolled her eyes. He really needed to be less serious sometimes it's one thing to coach the kids, but drill them like this? Really?
"Well I'm just sayin' nobody can work like a bull in the sun." Another one of her western quotes usually most didn't get them, or question her thick southern accent for that matter. Wolverine just stared at her. She returned the stare, and they had a small pause before she raised up her hands in defeat walking back in the center of the room while speaking aloud, "Fine! Fine! Do what ya want just don't come cryin' to me when someone's leg is broken!" Wolverine crying, and coming to her as a consultation? Nah. But the idea would be priceless.
