Harleen Quinzel, or better known nowadays by a new alias made promptly by a loveable clown as Harley Quinn already leaving her old name, identity and even possibly her sanity aside. She always had a teeny feeling as soon as she had placed her sights on the notorious Joker that she would be with him forever, however it could be seen as a good or bad thing depending on the clown's mood swings as well as his swift temper.
Overall Harls had dwelt with a lot throughout her young life, but of all of it she never ever thought anything would change like it did. Sure she pondered over Batman's possible death on a daily bases and if Ivy would ever accept her love for The Joker, however she never once questioned if something big would happen to everything she was just getting used to. So she came to a complete stop when Quarantine was issued all over Gotham.
People were fleeing, chaos was a foot, B-Man had suddenly disappeared and her puddin' was always the man with a plan. What was a girl to do?
Instead of packing her bags, or following what the TV screens told her she turned to Mistah' J. Leaving her hopes as well as her future for that matter in his gloved hands. But he was a very smart guy and even if others thought differently she would not, because she could see the brilliant schemes behind those eyes. She above all else would know his intelligence; it was prove enough when she used to be his Doctor back at Arkham.
Speaking of Arkham, that was exactly where she was going right now. She had to split up from Joker when the Government stormed their hide out and in all the confusion she found herself separated, however she knew exactly where to find him. It wasn't that hard either, which only made her beam with pride that she knew where to go. Taking sharp turns down alleys and short cuts in her infamous red and black jester costume Harley used the darkness as an advantage as she heard sirens every where followed shortly by many lights racing about probably in pursuit of others as well. It seemed nobody was save today. Light blue hues scanned her surroundings as she had to dangerously venture through open areas.
It literally was chaotic everywhere, she was not alone. Many gangsters, villains, even common thugs that she recognized vanished around corners, or fought back as the law stepped in. Intending to stay out of it, she kept to herself as well as out of sight as best she could.
It was a long stretch, but soon she made it to Arkham Asylum in one piece. Though she ended up gasping and wheezing near the front gate having to catch her breath as her lungs burned and she wanted to badly collapse and just lay there. With a determined huff she steadied herself, "Bad Harls! What do you think Mistah' J would say if he saw you now?!" Actually she could almost vividly picture what that man would do. It was not a pretty thought. Straightening her back she marched through the gates, her chin raised while her eyes furrowed in determination.
Giving in to curiosity she looked around having to blink back the surprise. It was almost worse than the city. Havoc had been unleashed upon Arkham grounds as statues were broken, tumbled, or completely destroyed. Scuffles were evident in the grass as well as tire marks racing everywhere. She gulped feeling lucky that this was not a day she had gotten locked up.
The more she neared Arkham the more anxious she was to see if her puddin' was there and waiting. ยก"Honey I'm home!!" She shouted cheerily, her voice raising to a almost sqeauky level, as she opened the door with ease finding that it had been forced open either by the Government in their search for all villains, heroes, and the likes, or maybe by Joker. She was about to find out.
